About B & B Services

We started the business in 1997 just as a hobby.  My dad worked for a company that needed a couple of extra trucks.  He bought them himself and took care of them.  After a year passed, a friend talked me into buying more trucks.  I was working at another full-time job at that time.  I tried running both businesses but my wife told me I had to get rid of one.  I chose to keep this one.

I took B and B Services and ran with it, day after day, and it has grown every year.

My wife and I are involved in many local community services and organizations.  I’m a member of the local chamber of commerce, and we buy raffle tickets for every kind of organization you can imagine, including the Boys & Girls Club and baseball or basketball teams.  We donate to the Wharton County Youth Fair and we have put a lot of money back into the county.  As an example, we went to Academy Sports and Outdoors, picked up 300 bikes and brought them back here for the local kids.  We’ve also trucked some items for free when needed.  We even hauled a basketball court back from North Texas for the Boys & Girls Club.  Any time someone needs something, we do what we can and we don’t charge anything.  We renovated one of our original trucks into an elaborate mobile barbecue cooker just for fun and we take it to many of the local area cook-offs.  We don't usually win the cook-offs but we've won showmanship quite often.  We don't do it for the trophy, we do it for the kids - supporting the youth and the community.
